Bantams are just smaller chickens some are miniatures of larger breeds and some are their own breed. They tend to make wonderful pets as they are easy to handle and tame well and suit smaller situations where space may be an issue. The eggs are also slightly smaller but tend to be very rich and tasty. In some situations you can mix them with larger hens but please ask us for advise on which breeds would be best for your set up. All bantams are vaccinated and sold on a first come first served basis.
These Lovely little bantams make a great addition to any flock. They are such characters and come in a variety of different colours. We stock both the smooth feather and the slightly more quirky frizzled variety.

A favourite of Queen Victoria these gentle giants ( in miniature) hail from china apparently bred for filling duvet covers! Thankfully we have moved on and we can now really appreciate these birds’ wonderful docile natures and portly figures which make them wonderful companions.
